According to Statistics Indonesia, the bilateral import and export volume of goods between Indonesia and China in 2018 was US$72.48 billion, an increase of 23.7%. Among them, Indonesia's exports to China were US$27.13 billion, an increase of 18.9%, accounting for 15.1% of its total exports; Indonesia's imports from China were US$45.35 billion, an increase of 26.8%, accounting for 24.1% of its total imports. Indonesia’s trade deficit was US$18.22 billion, an increase of 40.6%.
